"Stayed in a rooms with shower over bath as requested. Unfortunately the rooms faced over the hotel cooling towers. While the noise was not objectionable it was noticable. "

"I hsve been staying in the Rambuttri Alley area each time I visit Bangkok since the early 90's. Its changed a lot but is still a great place to stay for any age group and the Rambuttri Village never disappoints. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and efficient"

The accommodations of a free boat ferry to famous landmarks, BTS/MRT and many selections of breakfast buffet are a plus. The staffs are super friendly and professional. "I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past year. Each time it is always a pleasant experience. The hotel is immaculate. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It is convenient to transportation, add an easy walk to mini fine restaurants and shopping areas. But as others probably have stated, the traffic in this area is very congested and taking a taxi requires a lot of time."

"I generally prefer hotels that tend to be artsy boutique and independent, for their uniqueness, romantic nature, seclusion, and attention to a theme and/or detail; this hotel surprised me in a favourable way. While it did remind me of an airport business class lounge with its zen like simple efficiency, relaxed service, neutral palette, and comfort, it went beyond that. What really shines about this hotel is the people who run it: the incredible staff without whom this hotel would be yet another corporate gray and brown chain. On this segment of my trip I had just come from southern Thailand where it is more the land of hot and angry, rather than bothered, wondering where the land of smiles was. Well, it is in this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and kind in a genuine way that was refreshing, even when, for my very limited breakfast choices, my vegan dietary demands were a bit difficult to please and I made an issue of an over-sugared chocolate children’s cereal not being even close to muesli or the soup bowl full of of soy milk being fit for a cat to lap up. Thank you Lady Wawa for your reception and great patience. I will keep in touch, though I probably would not stay here on my next visit; maybe in transit as I would like to collect on that offer of the massage, not because I did not like the hotel, it was very pleasant and I love the staff, but because on my semi annual trips to Bangkok I prefer to stay in different areas and often a new boutique type hotel....."

"We stayed 3 nights. Family of 4. We had two rooms that connected. Both were very spacious, clean and modern (with USB outlets). Walking distance to Sukhumvit 11 and 13, which had lots of restaurants, spas, shops and laundry options. Walking distance to metro station. Excellent concierge that helped arrange private cars for tours and getting around. Pool was small but cozy with an outdoor bar area. Terrace was nice for dinner and drinks with a great view of the city. Indian restaurant in the hotel was excellent!. "

"On arrival/check in the receptionist ‘Toon’ was fantastic in making sure our stay would be as we expected. There was a slight booking issue (no fault of either us or Doubletree) & Toon took care of that efficiently & satisfactorily. The Hotel itself was as we had hoped. The staff are great."

"This location is amazing. Free shuttle boat to 3 locations running hourly. Breakfast was amazing. The room is very spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful . I will definitely come back, you should stay here and will be very happy. "

"Great place to stay. Very clean. They have a large pool that kids really enjoy and great for swimming laps early in the morning. Large room options are available. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. One of our kids had her bday when staying and they brought a cake and left balloons and card. We had a great time here. Lots of food options nearby and the street is not busy for Bangkok. Also, a free shuttle service to drop you at local points of interest."
